The carbon fibre inlet tube starts at 111mm (4.4in) internal diameter and tapers smoothly down to the OEM turbo elbow, replacing the flexible, convoluted stock section that creates turbulence in the flow path. Because the airbox sits next to the exhaust manifold, it is fully sealed to isolate the filter from engine bay heat, with a gold-reflective heat shield on the manifold side to cut radiant heat transfer. During development Eventuri also found an opening between the wheel arch and chassis, so a scoop at the rear of the airbox draws in a secondary cold air feed alongside the stock front duct, reducing restriction on the turbo.
