2025, the year in which the Civic FK2 became 10 years old. If that passage of time doesn\u2019t make you feel like you need a mid-life service, nothing will. But while the FK2 settles into its status as a modern classic, we haven\u2019t spent much time looking in the rear-view mirror. From prototype wagons to record-breaking lap times, 2025 was a year of absolute maximum attack. Here is the full debrief of a year spent entirely at the redline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hit the ground running in January, returning to the NEC for Autosport International<\/strong>. It wasn’t just about shaking hands with new brands and catching up with our trade network; it was a statement of intent. We had Tsuki, our NSX, taking centre stage on the stand, serving as the perfect backdrop for a major announcement: Tegiwa becoming the official supplier of Yokohama control tyres<\/strong> for both the Time Attack<\/strong> and Racing Hondas<\/strong> series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the motorsport season started to get back underway, we didn’t just supply parts – we got behind the wheel. The 750MC Swift Sport Challenge<\/strong> launched its first ever season, a budget-friendly championship we were proud to support by supplying the control parts. Our very own Connor Craven jumped into the fray in his first ever season of wheel-to-wheel racing, and securing a fantastic 3rd place finish overall in a highly competitive grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, our commitment to UK motorsport was bigger than ever. By the time the season was in full swing, we were sponsoring six major championships<\/strong>: Swift Sport Challenge<\/strong>, Type R Trophy<\/strong>, Club Enduro<\/strong>, Roadsports<\/strong>, Time Attack<\/strong>, and Racing Hondas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, we decided to have a little fun. Our April Fools’ reveal of a Civic Type R FL5 Wagon<\/a><\/strong> might have been a prank, but the desire for it was very real. The concept went absolutely viral, reaching nearly half a million users across social media. While the car doesn’t exist, the comments section proved that if Honda ever builds it, you lot will buy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer brought a new challenge. In June, our high-mileage (316,000km) Toyota GT86<\/a><\/strong> landed from Japan. Having sold our Evo 9 RS<\/strong> earlier in the year, we needed a new weapon for the rally stage. Over the next four months, the team transformed it into a wide-bodied rally monster, now sporting a built K25 engine from 4 Piston Racing<\/a><\/strong>. Speaking of rallying, we also doubled down on our support by sponsoring two rally events at Donington Park!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the end of the Summer, we’d been working closely with Racing Hondas<\/strong> behind the scenes to develop the S2000R<\/strong>, a machine built for the inaugural S2000 Cup<\/strong> launching next year. We finally lifted the covers at Donington Park in August, and the reception was incredible. We are currently building another S2000R<\/strong> for 2026, and you might even spot us on the grid at the first round of the Racing Hondas Championship<\/strong> at Silverstone next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It wasn’t all about competition though; it was about community too. We hosted four Cars & Coffee<\/strong> events at Tegiwa HQ, creating a safe environment for enthusiasts to meet up and in doing so, raising \u00a3750 for Prostate Cancer UK<\/strong>. We also took to the road, attending seven major shows including Japfest, where we hosted the team from Weds Wheels<\/a><\/strong> to show them exactly how the UK scene gets down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Away from the office, Tsuki, our 700bhp Honda NSX, had its most successful season ever. We secured the 2025 Pro Class Time Attack Championship<\/strong>, and we didn\u2019t just win; we smashed the lap record at every single round we attended!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Resting on our laurels” isn’t in our vocabulary. We expanded our catalogue even further this year, getting 14 major new brands<\/strong> listed on Tegiwa.com<\/a><\/strong>, including Kelford Cams<\/a><\/strong>, Liqui Moly<\/a><\/strong>, and Adro<\/a><\/strong>. In real terms, that meant adding a staggering 81,013 new products<\/strong> to the website in 2025 alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We shipped orders to 107 different countries<\/strong>, proving the car scene truly has no borders. As for what you were buying? The most popular item was the Yokohama A052<\/a><\/strong>, a testament to its grip on the market (and the tarmac), while Genuine Honda<\/a><\/strong> remains the undisputed king of our brand sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were also busy curating the finest metal Japan has to offer. We imported a grand total of 22 cars<\/strong> this year, ranging from the super rare Toyota GR Corolla<\/strong> to a time-capsule, low-mileage Civic EP3<\/strong> that had covered just 8,000 miles, and of course, a whole fleet of Honda Acty’s<\/strong>. We are constantly browsing the auctions for good examples, so keep an eye on our Cars for Sale page<\/a><\/strong> as our inventory moves fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a massive year for our media team. In total, our content was viewed by over 15,000,000<\/strong> people. We published over 1,600 posts<\/strong>, shared 4,000 stories<\/strong>, and dropped 48 new YouTube videos<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While our 2025 Track Day Tyre Test<\/a><\/strong> was the most viewed video, one of the highlights of the year was undoubtedly getting behind the wheel of a 1,150 horsepower race lorry<\/a><\/strong>. In total, our channel racked up over 600,000 views<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
